Aston Villa have been linked with a move to sign Manchester United attacker Jadon Sancho this summer.
Dr Rajpal Brar, an injury expert, has assessed the 25-year-old’s fitness record ahead of a potential move.
The England international spent last season out on loan at Chelsea, but they did not buy him permanently.

Sancho expected to clear his medical if needed
Despite his erratic game time, the Manchester United winger is unlikely to face issues clearing his medical, according to Dr Brar.

Speaking about this situation, Dr Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, told Villa News: “Apart from illness last season, there were no other issues with his fitness.

“Even though he wasn’t a regular starter, he remained injury-free and should have no issues clearing his medical.
“His adaptability to the English game would also mean lower injury risk if he is to move to a Premier League club.”

Aston Villa must avoid signing Sancho this summer
Aston Villa must avoid signing Sancho due to his inconsistent performances and high financial risk, which could disrupt their squad harmony and jeopardise their Premier League ambitions.
While Ian Wright has praised the England international, this is a deal the Villa Park outfit must avoid.
Back in December, he said on Wrighty’s House: “Wow, £25million, that is an amazing bargain, an amazing bargain.”
Club Appearances Goals Assists
Bor. Dortmund 158 53 67
Man Utd 83 12 6
Chelsea 41 5 10
Sancho’s career stats.
Despite his potential, showcased during his Borussia Dortmund stint, Sancho’s lacklustre spells at Manchester United and a mixed loan at Chelsea raise concerns about his adaptability and work rate.
His high wages and a potentially steep transfer fee would strain Villa’s budget, limiting funds for other key areas like defence.
Unai Emery will not want his squad dynamics impacted either, and if he is to bring in an attacker from Manchester United, he’s likely to fancy Marcus Rashford or Alejandro Garnacho over him.
