Wolverhampton Wanderers are one of the sides ‘best positioned’ to sign Marc Pubill from Almería this summer, with talks already underway.
That’s according to Marca, who report that Pubill is considering offers from Wolves and AC Milan at this moment in time.
They state that the new few days will be important for Pubill’s future. Wolves and Milan have expressed an interest in him and the Catalan footballer’s entourage are already holding talks about a potential move.
Pubill had initially been targeting a move to a club playing in Europe, but it is currently Wolves and Milan who are best positioned to sign him.
He and his agents are currently studying the offers on the table ahead of a potential move. Almería, for their part, have put a €15m price tag on the 22-year-old right-back. The defender was the subject of a €16m plus €4m offer from Atalanta last summer that eventually fell through.
Now it is a case of Wolves or Milan, with it possible that he may not even return to training with Almería as his sale to either could be accelerated in the coming days.
