Arsenal's move for Benjamin Sesko has 'gone quiet' amid fresh reports that the Gunners' talks to sign Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres have stalled, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The North London outfit are determined to land a new number nine this summer and had been in talks to sign Sesko and Gyokeres simultaneously, before deciding the latter was their prime target in recent days.

While Gyokeres has been the deal director of football Andrea Berta has been really focusing on, after he flew out to Portugal to try and conclude a deal last week, the latest reports from Portugal on Wednesday morning suggest that discussions have 'stalled' and there has been no progress with club-to-club negotiations since Sunday.
If Arsenal are unable to make a breakthrough with Sporting in what have been described as 'tough' negotiations by Romano, it will be questioned whether the Gunners will then turn their attentions back to Sesko, for whom RB Leipzig are also remaining strict on their own asking price for the Slovenia international.
In his latest GIVEMESPORT newsletter on Wednesday morning, Romano says that everything between the Gunners and Sesko remains 'quiet' as they continue to focus on trying to seal an agreement for Gyokeres.
At the moment, it has gone quiet as the focus is on Gyokeres.
