Jalen Hurts given simple one-sentence explanation on how he dominance in 2025

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts has asserted himself as one of the premier quarterbacks in the NFL over the last five years, even if some in the media don't want to admit it.

Hurts has proven capable of beating teams through the air and on the ground. Despite the Tush Push being something everyone attaches his name to, his scrambling abilities make him a threat from anywhere on the field.

Bleacher Report writer Brad Gagnon gave simple explanations on why each quarterback can dominate during the 2025 season. Gagnon only needed one sentence and one position group to assist Hurts.

"Well, he's protected by the best offensive line in the game and coming off a Super Bowl MVP win. It's easy to see the path."

Hurts' friends up front are about as good as they come in the NFL

It has been documented numerous times that the Eagles' offensive line is a dominant unit. Right tackle Lane Johnson is a future Hall of Famer, left tackle Jordan Mailata is considered the best blind side protector in the game, left guard Landon Dickerson is emerging as the next great Eagles lineman, and Cam Jurgens seems to have replaced Jason Kelce in the smoothest way possible. The only question is whether Tyler Steen is at right guard, but the other guys on the line will get him ready to play.

Hurts has been lucky to have such a great offensive line, as he has never been sacked more than 38 times in a season. They have also been instrumental in making the Tush Push work, a play that no other team has been able to master to the point of trying to get it banned.

Just as necessary are the weapons around Hurts that will help him succeed in 2025. That same offensive is also responsible for Saquon Barkley rushing for over 2,000 yards last year. Hurts' obvious favorite pass targets, A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Dallas Goedert, are also at his disposal.

This offense was ranked in the top 10 in total offense and had the number two rushing attack in the NFL last year. They have everything an NFL would want out of their unit, especially with 10 of the 11 returning starters from 2024 back on the roster in 2025.
