Ramón Sosa has left Nottingham Forest.
The Paraguayan winger has departed the City Ground for Palmeiras on a permanent deal.
He only spent one season at the club, joining from Argentinian side CA Talleres last August.
A statement from Forest read: “Nottingham Forest can confirm Ramón Sosa has left the Club, joining Brazilian side Palmeiras on a permanent deal.
“The Paraguayan joined Forest in August 2024 from Argentinian side CA Talleres, scoring three goals for the Reds across the season.
“The winger netted his first Premier League goal in the draw against Brighton & Hove Albion in September, grabbing the equaliser in front of the away end after a quick counterattack.
“Sosa scored twice and got one assist in the team’s impressive FA Cup run, making 23 appearances in all competitions while on Trentside.
“The 25-year-old, who has notched up 22 appearances for his national team, now heads to Palmeiras, the four-time Copa Libertadores winners, who currently sit fourth in Série A.
“Everyone at Nottingham Forest would like to thank Ramón for his contribution last season, wishing him the very best for his next challenge.”
