Oklahoma City Thunder big man Chet Holmgren has agreed to a fully guaranteed five-year maximum rookie extension that could reach up to $250 million, according to his agent, Bill Duffy of WME Basketball, as reported by ESPN’s Shams Charania.

Holmgren made a strong impression during the 2024-25 season, averaging 15.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks per game across 32 regular-season appearances.
He shot an efficient 49.0% from the field and knocked down 37.9% of his attempts from deep, showing off his versatility on both ends.
In the playoffs, Holmgren stepped up even more, averaging 15.2 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks per game.
His presence in the paint, shot-altering ability, and floor spacing played a key role in OKC’s title run.
