While the match against the club coached by Portuguese coach Nuno Espírito Santo will take place in the final period of preparation, on July 30th, the first test for the team coached by Ian Cathro is scheduled for today against Estoril's U-23 team in Tróia, with the exact time yet to be announced.
Also during the training period, Estoril Praia will play its second friendly match on Saturday, against Belenenses, in Liga 3.
After returning to Amoreira on July 16th, Marítimo, from Liga II, will play. Three days later, on the 19th, they will face Alverca, promoted to the first division this season. Two matches are scheduled for the 23rd, against Mafra and Atlético, both in Liga 3.
On July 26th, the team will face Sporting B, from Liga II, and the final two matches will be against English teams – Nottingham Forest, from the Premier League, on the 30th, and Millwall, who play in the Championship, the English second tier, on August 2nd, a week before the official debut in Liga I, against Estrela da Amadora.
Estoril Praia will be participating in the I Liga for the fifth consecutive season, after finishing eighth with 46 points in the last season.
