3 Newcastle games moved for TV broadcast ahead of 2025/26 Premier League season

The 2025/26 Premier League season kicks off in just over five weeks time, and TV selections have now been confirmed for the opening month of the new campaign.

Our opening day trip to **Aston Villa** will be shown by TNT Sports on Saturday 16th August (12.30pm kick-off) and our next two league games against Liverpool and Leeds will also be televised.

Our first game at St James’ Park of 2025/26 – a home clash with **Liverpool** – has been moved to Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football slot, with Eddie Howe’s Mags set to face Arne Slot’s Reds on Monday 25th August (8pm kick-off on a Bank Holiday).

The following weekend sees us face **Leeds United** at Elland Road, which will now be shown on Sky Sports on Saturday 30th August at 5.30pm, moving back a few hours from the initial 3pm slot.

After this, we take on Wolves (H), Bournemouth (A) and Arsenal (H) in September, although TV selections for this month are yet to be confirmed.

Before all of that, we have a seven-game pre-season schedule to get through, which can be seen in full below:

**W/C 14th July** – Austria training camp

**Saturday 19th July –** Celtic v Newcastle (Celtic Park, Scotland – 3pm)

**Sunday 27th July –** Arsenal v Newcastle (National Stadium, Singapore – 7.30pm local time)

**Wednesday 30th July** – K-League All Stars vs Newcastle (Suwon World Cup Stadium, South Korea – 8pm local time)

**Sunday 3rd August** – Tottenham vs Newcastle – (Seoul World Cup Stadium, South Korea – 8pm local time)

**Friday 8th August** – Newcastle vs Espanyol (St James’ Park – 7.30pm)

**Saturday 9th August –** Newcastle v Atletico Madrid (St James’ Park – 4pm)
