Newcastle United have announced that two early season fixtures have been switched to accommodate the TV cameras.
The Magpies' opening day clash at Aston Villa is already a lunchtime kick off and will be screened on TNT Sports. But the first home match of the campaign against Liverpool has also been moved.
Instead of a traditional 3pm kick off on a Saturday, fans will have an extra wait of two days before they take in the visit of the champions Liverpool.
A club statement read today: "Newcastle United's Premier League fixtures against Liverpool and Leeds United in August have been rescheduled after being selected for live television coverage.
"The Magpies will now welcome reigning champions Liverpool to St. James' Park on Monday, 25th August - two days later than originally planned. That game will kick-off at 8pm BST and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
"And the trip to newly-promoted Leeds will still take place on Saturday, 30th August as initially set, but will now kick-off at 5:30pm BST instead of 3pm BST. That clash at Elland Road will also be shown live on Sky Sports.
"Any further changes to United's 2025/26 schedule will be communicated at the earliest opportunity."
Further changes for autumn are also expected with the Premier League announcing today: "The broadcast selections for September will be announced in due course."
