Tampa Bay Buccaneers star Tristan Wirfs has been dealt a massive injury blow ahead of the 2025 NFL season.

The left tackle is expected to miss the start of the regular season and could be out for at least four games due to a knee injury, according to ESPN.

Wirfs underwent surgery on his right knee Tuesday after sustaining an injury to the joint during last season.

The 26-year-old is now reportedly expected to start the upcoming campaign on the physically unable to perform list, meaning he will miss at least four of the Buccaneers' opening games.

The two-time All-Pro had attempted to battle through the injury during Tampa Bay's offseason program sporting a brace on the knee. However, following multiple setbacks, he reportedly opted to undergo surgery.
