Fabio Silva is somehow still a Wolves player, five years after he signed.
The striker has just finished up a loan spell with Las Palmas, for whom he scored 10 goals in 25 appearances.
It was perhaps the best loan spell Fabio Silva has had so far, and the exact kind of season Molineux officials wanted to see from him going into the summer of 2025.
As expected, there has been a lot of speculation already about Silva.
But Silva did actually suggest in June that staying at Wolves wasn’t impossible.
But since that suggestion, it’s been claimed Jorge Mendes is now trying to facilitate Silva’s exit from Wolves – and there seems to be an understanding between club and player.

The coming weeks are going to be very interesting regarding Silva.
The 22-year-old has clearly raised his market value after hitting two goals in a good league.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
Wolves will not be getting anywhere near the original £35 million they paid to sign him from Porto.
But certainly, Wolves are bound to receive a decent fee.
Liam Keen has been speaking about Silva on the latest E&S podcast, and it is clear that there is no real intention for Silva to stay at Molineux or be loaned out again.
He said: “All parties involved in this are absolutely adamant that he leaves on a permanent deal this summer.
“We’ve also been here before haven’t we, and it hasn’t happened. So let’s take it with a pinch of salt for the time being. Look, I can’t see any way that he comes back to the football club. The player has made it very obvious he doesn’t want to be there.
“Everyone’s working on a deal for him to move on, on a permanent as well. But it’s about finding the right deal.”
How much Wolves could sell Fabio Silva for
Silva will surely be leaving Molineux permanently this summer – and there is potential for him to give the club’s transfer kitty a big boost.
It was claimed earlier this summer that Wolves valued Silva at around £21 million.
But with so many clubs apparently keen, and Mendes now on the case, there is every chance he could go for a little bit more.
It’s already been suggested Mendes is ‘frustrating’ clubs by inflating the finances involved with Silva, so we will see if Wolves can get somewhere in the mid-twenties.
But one thing is for sure – he simply has to be sold this time around.
