Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford and Antony are all set to leave Man United this summer after their loan spells.

Ruben Amorim’s summer business doesn’t only involve bringing players in, as the Man chesterUnited manager is also keen to offload some of the players who have fallen out of favour at Old Trafford.

The likes of Antony, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho are all expected to be sold this summer after they returned from their loan spells at Real Betis, Aston Villa and Chelsea. The latter refused to pay Sancho’s £25m obligation to buy, as they couldn’t agree personal terms with the player due to his wage demands.

Sancho’s future was always going to be away from Manchester United, but it now seems that Sancho now has a new move in place, as a deal has reportedly been completed for United’s first summer sale.

Jadon Sancho set to join Juventus for £25m

Serie A side Juventus have shown an interest in Sancho ever since he returned from his loan deal at Chelsea, alongside league rivals Napoli, and the winger’s former team, Borussia Dortmund. However, it seems as though Juventus have won the race for Sancho.

According to Italian Journalist Marco Giodarno on X of Radio CRC, everything has been settled with United and Sancho’s agent, and there is a “deal completed”, which will see Sancho move to the Old Lady for a transfer fee of £25m, which was his obligation price following his loan spell at Chelsea.

He said: “Sancho -Juve have never been so close. Deal completed, the player will be Bianconeri barring complications, which, at the moment, are not foreseeable. 25million valuation, everything settled with United and the Englishman’s agent.”

Reports had initially said that the Italian club could offer one of three players to Man United in a potential swap deal: striker Dusan Vlahovic, midfielder Douglas Luiz, or winger Timothy Weah. However, it seems instead that Juventus have managed to fork out the transfer fee and wages for Sancho to produce a cash-only move rather than some form of swap for the 25-year-old.

The winger has been at Man United since 2021, and despite struggling to replicate his form from Dortmund, he has gained a lot of respect from people within the club. Former Man United coach Benni McCarthy was quoted by Tribuna earlier in the summer window. He said: “I couldn’t fault Jadon in training.

“He brings unbelievable quality, ability and skills. For me, I don’t have a bad thing to say about Jadon. I loved him, he was unbelievable, sometimes he was unplayable.”

Who could Man United replace Sancho with?

Following what seems to be Sancho’s confirmed departure, United will hope to finally get a deal for Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo across the line, after they saw two bids rejected for the Cameroon international.

There was talk of a swap deal between Man United and Chelsea, which would have seen Alejandro Garnacho leave and Nkunku join. However, reports of said swap deal have since quietened down, and so has Chelsea's interest in Garnacho following their signings of Jamie Gittens and Joao Pedro.
