Marcus Rashford sends three word message as Man United star isolated at Carrington

Marcus Rashford has not taken part in pre-season team training at Carrington.

This week marked the start of Manchester United’s pre-season training, with Ruben Amorim welcoming back the majority of his squad on Monday.

However, five United stars will not take part in pre-season this week after Amorim and the club made a joint decision that they should stay away from the squad as they discuss their exit.

Rashford turned up at Carrington despite being advised by Amorim to stay at home and work towards finding a new club.

Rashford has accepted he is not in Amorim’s plans, but he has returned to Carrington to train individually.

Rashford has been stripped of his No.10 which all but confirms that he will inevitably be leaving the club in the near future.

But the 27-year-old has kept himself busy over the summer preparing for the new season, and Marcus Rashford has now sent a message on social media.

Via Instagram, Rashford posted photos of his training captioned: “No days off”.

Rashford will likely continue training at Carrington but he is not expected to be part of the pre-season squad that faces Leeds United on July 19 and then heads on tour to the United States.

Amorim has decided that Rashford should stay home and work towards finding a new club with a move to Barcelona looking the most likely.

Marcus Rashford’s training efforts were criticised by Ruben Amorim

Rashford has made several social media posts this summer about his training and preparation for the 2025/26 season, but it is too late for him to sway Amorim’s opinion.

Amorim heavily criticised Rashford’s training back in November when he was frozen out of the squad by the Portuguese coach.

Before leaving to join Aston Villa on loan, Rashford’s attitude was criticised and Amorim strongly suggested that he wasn’t putting in maximum effort in training.
