Leeds United have reportedly made three bids for Newcastle midfielder Sean Longstaff this summer.
Thus far, all three have been turned down by the St James’ Park outfit as they have not met their valuation of the 27-year-old.
Longstaff has been at the Magpies since 2026 and a departure is on the cards this summer.

Leeds United may table a fourth bid for Longstaff after agreeing personal terms
According to The Athletic’s Beren Cross, the Whites may make another bid for the Englishman this summer.
Leeds have already agreed personal terms with Longstaff, so the move is a formality should Newcastle accept their offer.

That said, the Elland Road outfit are not confident that the deal will progress, even though he fancies a move there.
The most recent offer was £10million plus £2million in add-ons, but that was also not enough to satisfy Newcastle.
Leeds have other options in midfield they could turn to if things do not materialise.

Daniel Farke could do with Longstaff in the middle of the park
To get the best out of Longstaff at Leeds United, Daniel Farke should leverage his work rate and versatility in a box-to-box role within a high-pressing 4-2-3-1 system.
His stamina and defensive work rate make Longstaff ideal for Farke’s intense, transition-heavy style.
Positioning him alongside a creative midfielder would allow Longstaff to focus on breaking up play and making late runs into the box.
Farke should encourage disciplined positioning to maximise Longstaff’s ability to link defence and attack, compensating for Leeds’ lack of midfield depth.
A player like the 27-year-old is crucial for the Elland Road outfit’s relegation battle, as his Premier League experience and tenacity provide stability in a physically demanding league.
His leadership and local roots could also galvanise the squad, fostering unity to navigate the gruelling 2025-26 campaign.
