Moise Kean has been subject of transfer interest from a number of clubs

Former Everton striker Moise Kean has reportedly been subject of a bid from . The Manchester Evening News understands that signing a new striker is among the club's priorities this summer.

became the first signing while negotiations for Bryan Mbeumo are still ongoing. Kean meanwhile, saw his £45million release clause at Fiorentina became active on July 1 and will remain valid until July 15.

Despite having four years left on his contract, the Serie A club would be forced to let him leave if that clause is triggered during this short window.

United are reputedly looking to take advantage of that and according to Corriere Fiorentino (via ), they have made a bid for the 25-year-old. However, the report also notes that Galatasaray and Napoli are in the running for his services.

Galatasaray are said to have contacted the Italian striker's agent, clearly expressing their intention to sign him this summer. As a result, they have allegedly expressed willingness to pay the €52m (£45m) release clause in his current contract.

With several clubs interested, Kean is yet to make a decision, according to the report. However, the possibility of staying at Fiorentina has also not been 'ruled out.'

Fiorentina manager Raffaele Palladino is a huge fan of the striker, revealing he had previously attempted to sign him two years prior to his move to I Viola.

"Moise is doing a great job for the team; he’s our striker and a leader, not just in possession," Palladino told DAZN in December.

"He needs to keep going like this because he can still grow. Together with the club, we’ve given him a lot of trust and love, and he’s done well to repay it. I’ve been calling him for two years, I tried, and I was very persuasive this year.

"Credit also goes to the club because Fiorentina have excellent management. I’m happy with Moise Kean and the entire team."
