Liverpool youngster Lewis Koumas is drawing interest from the Championship after impressing in a struggling Stoke City team during his loan spell with the Potters in 2024/25.
After losing star man Borja Sainz, who is set to move to FC Porto for a fee of around $19 million (£14 million) this summer, Norwich City is set to sign highly-rated Mathias Kvistgaarden, who scored 23 times for the Danish side Brondby. But it also wants to bring in another attacking option, with Liverpool and Wales talent Koumas one possibility as a loan signing, according to the Eastern Daily Press.
Koumas scored six times for Stoke last season and assisted another three for his teammates. The 19-year-old made 49 appearances in all competitions, often playing on the wing rather than down the middle.
"Every bit I've seen of [Lewis], I've loved," Wales manager Craig Bellamy said last summer. "He's fearless. Every time he has the ball, you feel something's going to happen. He wants to become one of the top players.
"And if he's anything like his father — who was incredible by the way — but I hope his attitude is better than his father's and he takes himself more seriously.
"I've seen so many players with ability. But where you go is determined by your attitude. No shortcuts. That's what determines a real top player. He has the ability to be at that level. The quality is too high.

"How he conducts and disciplines himself, that will determine his career. To talk about a player with character at a young age, fearless, that's great. I love that type of profile, that type of player."
Koumas scored 15 goals and assisted another six times in all competitions for Liverpool in the season before last. That included netting in the FA Cup against Southampton at senior level.
"A wonderful goal," Jurgen Klopp said of Koumas after his exploits against the Saints at Anfield. "A boy playing on the left wing against a senior player in a team with not a lot of patterns, let me say it like that, is tricky.

"Staying in the game for these moments just shows he is a real striker because the goal is exceptional, the step in and then he shoots before the goalie can settle. A really good finish."
Kaide Gordon moved to Norwich City on loan last year but struggled for game time. His spell there was cut short and he then moved to Portsmouth, where he also struggled to nail down a place.
Liverpool.com says: Koumas is a talented player and he needs regular game time again next season, ideally in a team that has more of the ball than Stoke.
He is definitely good enough to play at the top end of the Championship. Norwich finished 13th last season, six points ahead of Stoke and 11 points off the play-off spots.
