During the 2024/25 season, Gale showcased her talent on a dual-registration loan with FA Women’s National League side Watford, scoring seven goals and providing five assists across 21 appearances.
Her performances also earned her a call-up to the England Under-19s in October 2024, where she netted three goals and provided an assist in five matches during the Under-19 European Championship qualifiers.
“I’m delighted to sign my first professional contract here at Arsenal,” Gale said. “This is a special club with great history and ambitions for the future, and it’s incredible to be part of that.

“I’ve had the opportunity to train alongside the first team here as well as gaining experience elsewhere, and now I’m looking forward to continuing to work hard to develop and progress as a player.”
Director of Women’s Football Clare Wheatley praised Gale’s dedication, stating, “Jessie has been a key part in our Under-21s team over the past year and a half and has shown real dedication to developing as a footballer.
We look forward to seeing Jessie continue to grow here.” Head of Player Development James Honeyman echoed this sentiment, highlighting Gale’s commitment both on and off the pitch.
With pre-season underway, Gale, who made an unofficial senior debut in a friendly against West Ham, is poised to push for first-team opportunities under head coach Renée Slegers. Arsenal fans eagerly await her continued development.
