CLACKAMAS COUNTY, Ore. (KPTV) - Former Portland Trail Blazer Ben McLemore has been sentenced to prison after he was found guilty of raping a woman at a party in Lake Oswego in October 2021.
In Clackamas County court on Wednesday, 32-year-old McLemore was sentenced to eight years and four months in prison. He was also sentenced to nearly 12 years of post-prison supervision and he must register as a sex offender.
On July 3, McLemore was found guilty of one count each of first-degree rape, first-degree unlawful sexual penetration and second-degree sexual abuse.

Lake Oswego police said a woman came to them reporting that McLemore sexually assaulted her in 2021, while he was playing with the Blazers. She reported that she was too intoxicated to consent.
McLemore was arrested on April 9, 2024 at the Portland International Airport on an outstanding felony warrant.
McLemore has denied sexually assaulting the woman, saying in a statement, “I did not rape this woman. I am not sexually abusive. I have never pursued a sexual relationship when I understood the woman was not interested in me and acting willingly.”
McLemore played one season with the Blazers in 2021-2022.
