Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho is reportedly on the verge of leaving the club with a 'deal completed' with Juventus for his exit.
Sancho spent last season on loan at Chelsea after a fallout with Erik ten Hag in the September 2023 effectively ended his Old Trafford career. The winger and United had agreed an obligation-to-buy with the Blues for £25m last summer.
However, after an underwhelming spell at Stamford Bridge and negotiations with Chelsea, an agreement on his salary could not be reached. As such, Chelsea were forced to pay a £5m penalty for not agreeing a contract with Sancho.
Last week, MEN Sport reported that Sancho was one of five players who had informed United that they wished to leave the club permanently this summer. As such, the winger was allowed an extended break to help push through a move elsewhere.
And it appears, according to reports in Italy, that deal is nearly official. Journalist Marco Giordano reported on Tuesday night that a deal was complete for Sancho to move to Juve this summer and at no point during the negotiations had this transfer been closer.
Complications are not thought to be on the horizon and the two clubs are believed to have agreed a fee of £25m. Giordano would go on to provide a further update on Wednesday evening.

In that, he explained the only sticking point would be the severence package that Sancho's agents are requesting from United for organising an exit. It is believed that the team want £5m from the Reds and this could impact the valuation of the deal.
But, once that is sorted, Giordano is confident that Sancho will become a Juventus player.
