Leicester City are preparing for life in the Championship after getting relegated from the Premier League in their returning year.
As such, The Foxes made the decision to part ways with Manchester United legend Ruud van Nistelrooy who joined them as their new manager in December following his departure from Old Trafford.
Speaking on leaving Leicester, van Nistelrooy commented: “I would like to personally thank the Leicester City players, coaches, academy and all the staff I have worked with for their professionalism and dedication during my time at the club and to thank the fans for their support, and take this opportunity to wish the club well for the future”.

Now, the relegated side have found the Dutchman’s replacement, just in time for pre-season training.
Alex Crook has reported that Marti Cifuentes is set to be the successor to Ruud van Nistelrooy, having left Queens Park Rangers last month.
The 43-year-old has managed a range of clubs ranging from lower tier Spanish clubs when he started learning his craft, up to Danish side Aalborg, and most recently QPR.

However, his seat at the King Power Stadium will certainly be his most high-profile job to date.
It’s understood that the Spaniard is paying part of his own compensation to his former club to allow for his move to Leicester, where he has much work to do.
The club have already informed him that he needs to make sales first before he can sign anyone new to the club, forcing the new manager to hit the ground running, deciding on any potential departures.
Marti Cifuentes now agreed to become the new #LCFC manager. As exclusively reported last night he will pay part of his own compensation to former club #QPR. Also understand he has been told he has to sell players in order to bring in new signings.
