The official start of preseason at Carrington has put Manchester United’s 2025–2026 season preparations into full gear.
The supporters watched a turbulent 2024–2025 season, and the Red Devils are trying to improve their squad for this to not occur again.
New signings Matheus Cunha and Diego Leon have both been involved in training in the last few days too.
However, a few first-team players were not spotted in training over the last few days, and some questions were raised from the supporters on their whereabouts.

Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, Tyrell Malacia, and Jadon Sancho have all been told to stay away after informing the club of their desire to move.
Despite this, Marcus Rashford has been training on an individual basis in Carrington away from the group.
Captain Bruno Fernandes and Portuguese international teammate Diogo Dalot have been given an extended break to return due to international duties.
Another first-team player has also been training individually away from the group, like Rashford, but for different reasons instead.
CentreDevils can exclusively reveal that Harry Maguire has been training individually on grass in the last few days away from the group with the expectation of being back involved with the group soon.

We can also reveal that the English international has been working extra hard this summer by himself preparing for a big season next year with the aim of playing in the England squad for World Cup 2026.
Maguire had a positive prior season, seeing him start 27 Premier League games.
He was a consistent presence in the defence, winning 76 aerial duels and 68 tackles, with 28 blocks.
Maguire’s contract extension showed that Manchester United are dedicated to keeping their veteran players, even in the face of the team’s financial difficulties.
He will be hoping to have a huge season next year as he aims for a spot in a highly competitive England side.
