Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes Warns NFL Of 'Come From Everywhere' Offensive Revival

Last season, the Kansas City Chiefs' offense wasn't the high-octane unit we've come to know since Patrick Mahomes took over the starting role.

With Rashee Rice out for the season after Week 4 and Marquise Brown not able to get on the field until Week 16, that was two key weapons Mahomes was without, along with an aging Travis Kelce, the offense struggled.

Mahomes posted his lowest-ever passing yards total (3,928) and lowest touchdown total since 2019 (26) as the offense struggled to score a lot of points, just 22.6 per game (ranked 15th).

But now, with a healthy Rice and Brown, coupled with the expected improvement from Kelce and second-year speed merchant Xavier Worthy, Mahomes, who was speaking on the Up & Adams Show, is confident the offense can see an uptick in production in 2025.

"I think it is going to come from everywhere," Mahomes said in what could be considered a warning to the rest of the NFL. "You got Rashee Rice, coming back, he looks great. You've got Xavier Worthy, who came on so strong at the end of last year, and you have Hollywood Brown healthy again. Guys everywhere. You add Travis Kelce, a Hall of Famer. Noah Gray, a great tight end. And everyone that we added to all those different rooms. So many weapons.

"Let us go out there and just maximize it all. It is not going to be just one person. It is going to be the entire offense going out there and showcasing what the Kansas City Chiefs truly are."

So the Chiefs will be using all the weapons available to Mahomes.

With Kelce and Rice patrolling the underneath routes, along with Brown and Worthy stretching downfield, Andy Reid will have plenty of options in the passing game to get after opposing defenses.

Of course, the injury bug has to stay away, and if it does, the Chiefs' offense, which many aren't sold on, may surprise a lot of people in 2025.

So there is a lot of potential there, but we need to see it with real NFL bullets flying.

Until then, everyone will be skeptical of what Kansas City can do as an offense.
