Broncos' Marvin Mims Has 4-Word Message on Denver's Outlook

The Denver Broncos are coming off of a 10-7 season capped off by a playoff appearance, and third-year wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. believes the team has turned a corner and is entering "win-now" mode.

Mims recently spoke on SiriusXM NFL Radio about the team's outlook, and it should have Broncos fans excited.

"The times are changing for us," Mims said.

The wideout went into detail on exactly why he feels that is the case.

"They know what it's like, know what it takes to get there," Mims said about the players returning from the 2024 playoff run. "Then we bring in [Talanoa] Hufanga and Dre Greenlaw, Evan Engram. We bring in some more guys… People always like to say, a 'win-now' mode."

Mims ended the 2024 season strong with 39 grabs for 503 yards and six touchdowns, including several catches for more than 40 yards. He is coming off his second Pro Bowl and All-Pro seasons and remains one of the NFL’s top kick/punt return threats.

The rising 23-year-old wide receiver could be in for a bigger role this season, but believes the team is on the cusp of more success on the field as well.

"You can kind of feel throughout the locker room that everyone is hungry, especially the guys who were here and played in Buffalo last year and got a taste of the playoffs," Mims said. "The guys that are coming in, they want to make an impact too."

If head coach Sean Payton is able to elevate his squad to an even higher level than last season, the Broncos could be in for a deep playoff run. Quarterback Bo Nix is expected to take a leap in year two, which would propel the team even closer towards contention for a Super Bowl.
