PHOENIX (KYMA, KECY) - Suns superstar Devin Booker is staying in Phoenix for the long haul. ESPN's Shams Charania reports that Booker has agreed to a 2-year $145 million max extension with the team. This deal will keep the 28-year-old in Phoenix through the 2029-30 season.

The Suns drafted Booker with the 13th overall pick in the 2015 draft. During his 10 seasons in the desert, Booker has been selected to four All-Star Games and was named to an All-NBA team twice.

Last season, Booker averaged 25.6 points per game along with 7.1 assists and 4.1 rebounds. However, the Suns missed the postseason.

Earlier this offseason, the Suns agreed to trade Kevin Durant to the Rockets in a deal that would see Phoenix receive Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks and draft picks. The Suns are attempting to rebuild a roster with influx of youth in hopes of returning to a championship contender.
