CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - The Carolina Panthers are gearing up for their annual Fan Fest as it returns to Uptown Charlotte.
The fan-centric event is set for Saturday, Aug. 2 at Bank of America Stadium. Gates will open at 5 p.m. with the team practice scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m.
In addition to practice, Fan Fest will also feature performances by the Panthers’ entertainment teams, plus fireworks and a laser show.
Fan Fest is back at the Panthers’ stadium after a one-year hiatus. The 2024 event was held at Clemson’s Memorial Stadium but had a much lower turnout than in years past.
Tickets are $5 and go on sale to the general public Friday, July 11 at 10 a.m. Panthers and Charlotte FC PSL owners will have access to pre-sale tickets 24 hours earlier. Ticket proceeds will benefit Carolina Panthers Charities.
Fan Fest will be fans’ only chance to see the Panthers up close and personal on the practice field this preseason, as regular training camp practices will be closed to the public both this year and next. The team made that announcement in April when it said it was unable to host fans due to construction at the practice facility.

Despite coming off a 5-12 season in 2024, there is some optimism surrounding the Panthers this year. Much of that has to do with the way quarterback Bryce Young played at the end of last season. The addition of wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan and a rebuilt defense has also helped build excitement.
Panthers rookies will report to training camp on July 21 with veterans set to arrive the next day.
Carolina’s first preseason game is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 8 at Bank of America Stadium against the Cleveland Browns. The regular-season opener will come about a month later on Sunday, Sept. 7 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
