Everton fans have just been handed their first new face of the summer transfer window after Thierno Barry was confirmed.
David Moyes will be delighted to see one of his top targets finally come through the doors after weeks of negotiations with Villarreal.
But Barry’s signing has only put a small dent in the list of summer signings needed at Everton this summer.
Everton want to add creative players around Barry, with the Toffees losing a number of attacking players at the end of June.
Angus Kinnear cannot afford to dwell on the signing of the new striker, with Moyes already welcoming back his players for pre-season.
And it seems one of Everton’s other targets has now given the green light to move clubs this summer.

James McAtee green lights summer move amid Everton interest
Everton are one of the sides keen to sign James McAtee this summer from Manchester City.
The youngster is just one of the players who is being offered the opportunity to try something new this summer away from Pep Guardiola’s side.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
According to Sky Sports, McAtee has now given the green light to change clubs, with plenty of potential suitors on offer.
McAtee is keen to find a club that is going to offer him regular first-team minutes to continue his development.
Everton face plenty of competition if they are going to land McAtee, with Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace credited in the report.
However, it was claimed earlier this week that Everton have already held McAtee talks, as they look to continue the influx of summer arrivals.
Given Barry is also a young player with not much Premier League experience, adding a player like McAtee around him could provide him with the creativity he needs to thrive on Merseyside.
David Moyes is demanding more Everton signings
Everton fans will have been delighted to see Barry finally confirmed as an Everton player on Wednesday.
In fact, Barry confirmed his Everton transfer early in the hours of Wednesday morning, with his farewell message to Villarreal.
Moyes must have also been delighted as he shared his thoughts on the signing of the France U21 international.
“We are delighted to have brought Thierno to the Club. We see lots of potential and we are hoping for good things from him,” said Moyes.
But he also dropped another transfer demand into his quotes, as he shared this message to the Friedkins:
“I’m hoping to make more additions in the coming weeks.”
