The 7’0 center, drafted 40th overall in last year’s draft joins Ryan Dunn in the line-up and shared to reporters ahead of their first game that they both see this league as a chance for them to step up.
“Me and Ry have been doing 2-a-days all summer, and when we come back at night, he’s still in here,” he said as quoted by Suns reporter Gerald Bourguet.
“I think being a leader and showing you’re in it with us and not just saying you’re gonna work hard but actually doing it has been really great to see.”
Dunn was a prominent member of the Suns’ rotation last season as a guard defender while Ighodaro managed to crack the regular spot as sixth man by the late of the season.

Oso Ighodaro is bulking up
Ighodaro, who had his moments from last season, is not just about looking after the fresh faces in the summer league. He has also set a goal for himself and that he does almost everything to be able to improve.
One thing he focused on his to get bigger. The West is filled with agile forwards and centers that can make things hard for him. This include the likes Nikola Jokic, Rudy Gobert, Jaren Jackson Jr., and Isaiah Hartenstein.
Ighodaro said he gained 12 pounds of muscle since the start of the break. He cleared, too, that his added weight did not affect his speed.
