Tottenham could get a surprise boost to land Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic
Tottenham Hotspur have already added to their forward options by turning Mathys Tel’s loan from Bayern Munich into a permanent deal.
The North Londoners do want more options in the final third however, as evidenced by their interest in West Ham United attacker Mohammed Kudus. And after weeks of negotiations and multiple failed bids, they have agreed a £55m fee with West Ham for the signing of Kudus.
Also, there is a clear need to address the issues up front, and the right way to do that is by signing an upgrade on Richarlison. After an injury-ravaged last two seasons in North London, Richarlison finds his future up in the air under new boss Thomas Frank. Spurs are ready to cut their losses on the Brazilian striker this summer, with several clubs from Europe and South America monitoring his situation. Turkish champions Galatasaray have recently expressed an interest in signing him.
Thus, a new striker is required to not only replace Richarlison but also keep Dominic Solanke on his toes, as the Lilywhites look to compete on all four fronts next season. Recent reports suggest that Tottenham have an interest in Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic.

Having displayed impressive performances at Fiorentina, Dusan Vlahovic joined Juventus back in 2022. However, he hasn’t managed to live up to lofty expectations of the Allianz Stadium faithful. Also, the chopping and changing of managers in the last couple of years, combined with some injury issues, have not allowed the Serbian star to take his game to the next level.
Tottenham could get surprise boost to land Serie A striker
Now, it looks like Tottenham could get a surprise boost to land Dusan Vlahovic. According to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus are looking to cut the 25-year-old’s eye-watering £20million-a-year wages by ripping up his contract.
The Serie A side are planning to propose this to the player’s agents when they meet in the next few days. It remains to be seen whether Vlahovic will accept the offer or not, but if he does, he’d enter the free agency group that will allow clubs to explore signing him.
David Moyes has shut down rumours linking Tottenham forward Richarlison to a return to Everton.

Should Tottenham act if Dusan Vlahovic becomes a free agent?
Vlahovic may have not been a prolific goalscorer at Juventus and lived up to his billing, but at 25, one would assume his best years are still ahead of him. He is certainly not the finished product, and in the right system and under a tactically astute manager, there is a big possibility that Vlahovic would flourish.
Known for his tactical flexibility, Frank may opt to use a two-striker formation in his first season at Tottenham. Such a formation could get the best out of both Vlahovic and Solanke up top, enabling Spurs to score goals consistently. But, while the Serb will not cost a single penny as transfer fee, his signing-in bonus, high wages and agent commission may act as stumbling block for a deal to go through.
If the club can sort that out amicably, Vlahovic on a potential free transfer would represent excellent business for Frank’s Tottenham.
