Wolves presenting transfer danger – 6 goals and 3 assists in 15 games attracts PL club

Wallace Yan is on the radar of Wolverhampton Wanderers, but [as we reported](https://sportwitness.co.uk/wolves-transfer-denied-brazilian-press-dismiss-reports-of-pl-move/), Flamengo are yet to receive an official offer from the Premier League side.

Now [according to Globo Esporte](https://ge.globo.com/futebol/times/flamengo/noticia/2025/07/08/wallace-yan-desperta-interesse-do-wolverhampton-e-flamengo-aguarda-proposta.ghtml), the Brazilian club is aware of the interest and will only evaluate a potential transfer if a formal proposal is submitted.

The club intends to proceed with caution and would only consider a sale in the region of £13m to £21m.

Wallace has made a strong impression in 2025, registering six goals and three assists in just 15 senior appearances. He was Flamengo’s top scorer in the state championship and netted twice at the Club World Cup.

In the meantime, the Brazilian side is already in talks with the 18-year-old over a contract renewal.

Wallace is currently tied to the club until December 2027, with a £42m release clause for foreign sides and a R$51m clause for domestic ones.

A new deal would involve a salary increase and, as a result, a higher domestic clause.

Still seen as a player for the future, Wallace remains fully involved in first-team activities and is closely followed by head coach Filipe Luís, who previously coached him at U-20 level.

For now, his future stays in Rio, but that could change if Wolves move forward.
