Horse Tracks: Which Denver Broncos position group concerns you the most?

Good morning, Broncos Country.

In less than a week, the Denver Broncos will begin their training camp sessions with their rookies reporting on July 16th. After a quiet and long summer lacking big news, we are on the verge of a lot of excitement and interesting developments leading up to the 2025 season.

Over the past week or so, Scotty Payne and I have gone over each position group [besides special teams] and given our thoughts on how they look heading into camp. We appreciate all of the commentary it generated and enjoyed hearing your thoughts. It was interesting to see that some were high on the talent and potential of some positions, with others being more cautious with their optimism.

For today’s edition of Horse Tracks, I thought I’d ask our readers which position group on the roster concerns them the most. To better gauge the fan pulse on this, I’ve added a poll at the end of the article that you can feel free to vote on if you wish.

For me, it would definitely be inside linebacker. As I wrote in my review, I think the duo of Dre Greenlaw and Alex Singleton can be formidable this coming season. When healthy, both of those players have proven to be quality difference makers at the position.

For Greenlaw, his coverage prowess and ability to make game-changing plays is notable. He can cover a lot of ground and gives the Broncos a talented player that will be able to improve their coverage over the middle of the field. With Singleton, his sideline-to-sideline ability and being a difference maker against the run sticks out.

However, the large concern is whether or not the two can come back and play at a high level after significant injuries without any setbacks. If there is one thing I’m really hoping for this season, it’s that those two can stay on the field and help take the Broncos’ defense to the next level.

So, what do you think, Broncos Country? What position group concerns you the most leading up to the 2025 season? As always, thank you for reading. Here is today’s slate of articles for Horse Tracks.
