England international Marcus Rashford appears to be a prime target for Turkish Süper Lig giants Fenerbahçe, with manager José Mourinho reportedly making a personal plea for the Manchester United forward’s signature.
This development comes as Rashford’s long-rumored aspirations of a move to Barcelona face significant hurdles.
According to a report from Turkish outlet Fotomac, Mourinho has specifically requested Fenerbahçe pursue Rashford this summer.
The publication also suggests that Rashford is receptive to the move, having reportedly given his approval to a potential switch to Turkey.

Manchester United are reportedly keen to offload the attacker, who is said to be outside of new manager Ruben Amorim’s plans for the upcoming season.
Rashford has also reportedly been stripped of his iconic No. 10 shirt at Old Trafford, further signaling his diminished role.
While Barcelona has been consistently linked with Rashford, it’s understood that the Catalan club’s sporting director Deco and his team now prefer Liverpool’s Luis Diaz, particularly after missing out on Nico Williams.
Furthermore, concerns linger over Barcelona’s ability to finance a deal for Rashford due to his reportedly hefty wage demands.
In a sign of serious intent, Fenerbahçe’s sporting director Devin Özek is reportedly scheduled to travel to Manchester this weekend to hold further discussions with Rashford regarding a potential transfer.
