Marcus Rashford looks set to depart Old Trafford this summer as his time with Manchester United is over.
After a falling out with Ruben Amorim following being dropped from the United squad, Rashford saw out the rest of last season with Aston Villa on loan.
Under Unai Emery, the 27-year-old showed glimpses of his former self, reclaiming his slot in the England national side.

However, without Champions League football, Villa couldn’t commit to Rashford’s £325,000 per week salary, turning down their option to buy the talented attacker for £40 million.
Whilst some reports claimed that his return to Old Trafford could see him reintegrated within Amorim’s squad, this doesn’t seem to be the case, with the attacker in individual training on his pre-season return to Carrington.
Furthermore, the England international has also had his iconic number 10 shirt stripped from him, giving it to new signing Matheus Cunha.
As such, Rashford and his agent are looking for their next club, with Barcelona appearing to be front-runners despite seeing him as a plan B to Liverpool’s Luis Diaz.

Barca’s sporting director Deco has already met with Rashford’s agent in Spain over a potential move, however might now have strong competition.
Mundo Deportivo has now reported that Fenerbahce are entering the race for Marcus Rashford, pivoting their interest from United teammate Jadon Sancho.
With Sancho reportedly setting his heart on a move to Juventus, Fenerbahce have turned their focus to United’s former number 10, with Jose Mourinho contact his former player.
The pair worked together at Old Trafford between 2016 and 2019, helping the England international to develop to the play he’s become.
At this time, it’s unknown how Rashford feels about the interest or whether he’d consider reuniting with his former coach.
