Sporting CP launch offer for Juventus defender Alberto Costa
Alberto Costa joined Juventus in the winter transfer window, signing in a €12.5m deal from Vitoria SC and went on to make nine Serie A appearances in the second half of the season, the first six of which came off the substitutes’ bench.
Now, despite only being on the club’s books for six months, Alberto Costa could be in line to leave Juventus in favour of Sporting, who are targeting a move for the former Portugal U20 international.

Football Italia understands that Sporting’s current offer for Alberto Costa stands at €20m, which would provide Juve with a useful capital gain just six months on from their original investment.
The Bianconeri are also working on a number of potential incoming deals, including for former loanee Francisco Conceicao, with Manchester United for Jadon Sancho and potentially again with Sporting for former Lecce midfielder Morten Hjulmand.
