All 30 teams have been divided into six groups of five. Each team will play four games against the other teams in their groups each Friday, from Oct. 31 through Nov. 28.
Eight teams will advance to single-elimination knockout rounds: the six teams that win their group standings and two "wild cards."
Quarterfinals will be played on home courts before moving to Las Vegas for the semifinals and championship.
The Milwaukee Bucks are the reigning NBA Cup champions, having defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 97-81 at T-Mobile Arena last year.
