Manchester United and Brentford could be set for another round of transfer negotiations - according to reports from the national media.

United are currently aiming to sign Bryan Mbeumo as their second new addition to their squad this summer. The Bees have already rejected two bids from United for the 25-year-old, with the latter worth more than £60million including add-ons.

There is still plenty of time for United to complete their transfer business for the summer, while it seems another deal has emerged as a possibility. And should the deal prove to be genuine, it would see United needing to enter negotiations with Brentford once again.

Caught Offside have reported that Yoane Wissa is now a concrete target for United this summer. The report has claimed that United will battle Tottenham Hotspur for the signing of the 28-year-old - who scored 20 goals in all competitions last season.

Wissa is now reported to be valued at around £50million by Brentford, with United also facing competition from Newcastle for the in-demand forward's signature.

United have already seemingly beaten Tottenham in one transfer battle this summer, after it emerged last month that Mbeumo had chosen to move to Old Trafford rather than north London. There still needs to be an agreement reached between United and Brentford before Mbeumo can become a member of Ruben Amorim's squad.

If that was to happen, then the latest report suggests that a reunion for the Bees duo could be on the cards this summer. Wissa mainly plays as a centre forward - a position which has been at the centre of transfer speculation concerning United over the last few weeks.

United currently have Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund as their striker options in their squad, with both facing uncertain futures amid the speculation around the search for a new centre forward.
