Gustavo Hamer ‘to pass Leeds medical’
Gustavo Hamer has been touted as one of Leeds’ key transfer targets for this summer.
The Brazilian playmaker had a fantastic season with Sheffield United and looks ready to test himself in the Premier League.
Hamer is believed to be disheartened by everything that has happened at Bramall Lane since they lost the playoff final, and is seeking a move.
Speaking exclusively to MOT Leeds News, sports injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar said there would likely be no issues with Hamer passing a medical at Elland Road.
Leeds sign young defender Lienou from Manchester City
Leeds have invested in the future by signing 17-year-old defender Jayden Lienou from Manchester City.
The teenager didn’t make a first-team appearance for Pep Guardiola, and will likely have to wait for his chance at Leeds, given the depth of transfer activity at Elland Road this summer.
Still, Lienou is believed to have a lot of potential and could be the long-term replacement for Sam Byram. He has signed a three-year contract with the Whites.
Patrick Bamford tipped to leave Leeds by former player
Up to six first-team stars could be forced out the door by Leeds this summer, according to former goalkeeper Paul Robinson.
In an exclusive interview with MOT Leeds News, Robinson suggested that some existing stars will be let go to help fund the recruitment of new players.
