Napoli are showing interest in one Man United star. The player has fallen out of favour at Old Trafford. The Serie A champions are ready to pay £45 million to sign him this summer.
The star in question here is Alejandro Garnacho. He just turned 21 years old and plays on both wings as well as attacking midfielder. Garnacho was once viewed as player with bright future for United. He came through their academy and was looking very sharp. However, the 2024/25 season has been the one to forgot for both United and Garnacho.
The 21 year old did score 11 goals and picked 10 assists but has fallen out of favour. He has been involved in fall-out with Ruben Amorim. The Portugese coach no longer rates Garnacho in his plans for future. United are also in need to raise funds for new signings and PSR. Hence, selling Garnacho can seem like a smart business as he will bring in pure profit.
Napoli still interested to sign Garnacho
Napoli have been showing interest in Garnacho since long-time. But, the rumours were cooled off in the recent weeks. However, the story is not yet over as Daily Mirror have reported that the Serie A champions are still keen to sign the Argentine this summer.
🚨🗣️ Napoli president has confirmed they want Garnacho.

Napoli are willing to pay £45 million for Garnacho. This can come as a boost for United despite them wanting around £60 million in the past. As of now, no club is willing to spend as much as £60 million for Garnacho due to the dip in his form.
Napoli can be a tempting destination for Garnacho. He is still 21 years old and can surely get his career back on track. Many players have left England to play in Italy recently and have succeeded. Garnacho can be the latest addition to that list.
