Despite the talks for the attacker lasting over a month now, The Red Devils aren’t losing hop of signing Mbeumo, with club-to-club talks being the only thing left to sort out.

Despite not having European football next season, Mbeumo still set his heart on playing at Old Trafford, showing his passion to join the Red Devils.
However, continued talks regarding the player’s transfer fee have led Mbeumo to grow frustrated, simply wanting the move to go through.
Now, Cameroon assistant coach Ashu Cyprian Besong has revealed Mbeumo’s feelings to Telecom Asia after a recent conversation with the star himself.

Mbeumo’s national assistant coach explained: “I spoke to him about a week ago and he is very calm with everything that is going on.”
He continued: “But of course, he’s already told them he wants to go to United. He just wanted the two clubs to find an agreement, as he’s very grateful for the opportunity that he’s been given by Brentford in his career.”
All parties are no doubt hoping to get a deal across the line in the coming days, with Amorim wanting Bryan Mbeumo at his disposal when he takes his squad to America for the pre-season tour.
Once the deal finally goes through, United can turn their attention to prioritising sales as well as recruiting a striker, with Ollie Watkins seemingly the favourite at this time.
