Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur are two clubs who both seem focused on rebuilding their squads this summer.
Tottenham have targeted Mohammed Kudus while having already signed Kota Takai, Mathys Tel, Kevin Danso and Luka Vuskovic while City have brought in Tijjani Reijnders, Rayan Cherki, Marcus Bettinelli and Rayan Ait-Nouri.
Both Manchester City and Spurs had largely disappointing seasons despite the Lilywhites reigning supreme in the Europa League and in the following campaign, they will be hoping to climb up the Premier League table.

David Ornstein says Tottenham are keen to sign Man City target Morgan Gibbs-White
Morgan Gibbs-White has been linked with a move to Manchester City for months as one of the signings who could help them return to the top.
While Nottingham Forest expected Gibbs-White to join Manchester City, including the players, David Ornstein has now revealed that Tottenham are interested in securing the 25-year-old’s services.

Ornstein claimed that Thomas Frank has been a “long-term admirer” of the Forest midfielder.
While Manchester City sporting director Hugo Viana has always admired Gibbs-White, Tottenham are now expected to try and persuade him to sign the England international.
Man City’s stance on signing Morgan Gibbs-White
Jamie Carragher described the former Wolves technician as a “special player” and last season, he was one of the best players in the Premier League.
Carragher said on Sky Sports: “I’ve always been a huge fan of Gibbs-White, the thing I like about him, and we’ve seen the number he’s got the number 10 but what’s special about him is he’s got great pace and that’s what he gives Forest that a lot of teams don’t have.”
Manchester City believe Gibbs-White is too expensive at £70 million, which could lead to Tottenham having a free run at signing him.
However, City may decide to reignite their interest in the Spurs target, considering Ilkay Gundogan has agreed personal terms with Galatasaray and there could be room for the former in their midfield.
