Morgan Gibbs-White could be the latest to pocket Fosun a healthy chunk of money as another club have joined the race to sign the former Wolves star.
This summer, Wolves have watched two of their best players leave the club once more, with Matheus Cunha joining Manchester United and Rayan Ait-Nouri switching to Manchester City.
Wolves received £62.5 million for Cunha and £26.5 million from Ait-Nouri after buying out the 50% sell-on clause Angers inserted in his contract.
Those are the only sizeable transfer fees the club have pocketed this summer, as the others are either nominal sums of money or players leaving on a free transfer or loan.
But it might not be long until Wolves receive another financial windfall with former midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White attracting interest from a Premier League club.

Wolves set for cash injection as Tottenham show an interest in Morgan Gibbs-White
After coming through the academy at Wolves, Morgan Gibbs-White was sold for an initial £25 million to Nottingham Forest in August 2022.
Since then, the Englishman has become one of the best attacking midfielders in the Premier League, with Forest slapping a £100 million price tag on Gibbs-White.
That was in reaction to Manchester City showing an interest in Gibbs-White in April, though the Citizens capturing midfielders Rayan Cherki and Tijjani Reijnders erased any possibility of him moving to the Etihad Stadium.

But according to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, Man City aren’t the only club to have placed the 25-year-old on their radar, as Tottenham have switched their attention to the England international.
As Wolves placed a 10% sell-on clause in Gibbs-White’s contract once he joined Forest, they will be hoping he eventually moves on from City Ground to land them a financial boost.
Transfer expert Ben Jacobs has stated that the Tricky Trees were looking at £65 million+ for their prized asset this summer, which is less than their initial £100 million asking price.

However, it remains to be seen what Spurs are willing to offer for him, with the possibility that he becomes the next player to leave after Anthony Elanga.
Nottingham Forest paid Wolves £1.5 million after qualifying for Europe
The Wanderers didn’t only insert a sell-on clause in the midfielder’s contract, as Molineux News also revealed in April that Nuno Espirito Santo’s men qualifying for European football meant Forest had to pay Wolves £1.5 million.
Forest finished seventh in the Premier League last term and achieved Conference League football after it looked for all the world that they would finish in the Champions League places.
Either way, due to some clever negotiations three years ago, Wolves earned a seven-figure sum from the Reds, and they’ll be hoping more money is heading their way this summer by Gibbs-White exiting the club.
