ORONO, Maine (WMTW) - Basketball standouts and twin brothers Cooper Flagg, the top pick in the 2025 NBA draft, and Ace Flagg, a high school champion in three different states, will be holding an instructional camp in their home state of Maine next month.
The Flaggs will be holding their [second annual ProCamp](https://www.wmtw.com/article/cooper-flagg-ace-flagg-basketball-camp-umaine-orono/65354988) at the University of Maine over two days, Aug. 9-10.
The basketball camp is open for boys and girls in grades 1-6. There will be a morning session and afternoon session offered both days at Memorial Gym in Orono.
Cooper, Ace and some of the area’s top high school and college coaches will offer tips and hands-on instruction, including lectures, fundamental basketball skills stations, contests and non-contact games, according to ProCamps.
Each attendee will receive a camp team photo with Cooper and Ace, as well as a limited-edition T-shirt. ProCamps said additional upgrades will also be available to campers during checkout.
As 15-year-old freshmen, Cooper and Ace led Nokomis Regional High School in their hometown of Newport to its first state basketball championship. The brothers then transferred to Montverde Academy in Florida, where they won a national championship together in 2024.
Cooper reclassified to leave high school a year early. He played one season of college basketball at Duke University, leading the Blue Devils to the Final Four while winning most of the major national player of the year awards. The Dallas Mavericks drafted him No. 1 overall on June 25, and he will take part in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas this month.
Ace played his senior year of high school basketball in North Carolina and helped the Greensboro Day School win the state title. He will play college basketball at UMaine starting this fall.
