Wolves are looking to bolster their attack, and Jhon Arias has emerged as a top target.
Wolves are interested in Arias who has shone for Fluminense for a while now, and caught the eye especially at the Club World Cup.
With Wolves having lost Matheus Cunha and Pablo Sarabia, there is a clear need for another forward.
And Wolves fans have backed a move for Arias, with many feeling he is the kind of ready-made player Vitor Pereira needs right now.
Certainly, it will be important for Wolves to land proven performers, as well as young stars with high ceilings.
But seemingly, Wolves’ have some work to do to sign the Colombia international – and now there is word of how Fluminense feel about the situation.

Wolves could face a challenge to sign Arias.
That is because Globo Esporte have reported that Fluminense have ‘no interest in selling’.
Globo say that Wolves contacted the representatives of Arias during the Club World Cup to establish whether a move could be possible. A proposal may be sent in the coming days, it’s claimed.

Apparently though, the Fluminense board ‘has no interest in negotiating the 27-year-old at this time’.
That said, Arias’ own stance may force Fluminense to soften their stance.
It is also added that Wolves have already started conversations about salary with Arias, who has already spoken of wanting to play in Europe.
Arias transfer would be a statement from Wolves
Fans are rightly getting quite excited about a potential move for Arias.
He’s a player who has already made waves in Brazil with Fluminense. Data indicates he has had a strong 2025 so far, and has really impressed at the Club World Cup.

The Colombia international offers versatility and also productivity in the final third, which is a big sell considering the losses of Cunha and Sarabia.
He is also someone who is just about to come into his prime years.
Wolves need proven performers, and while Arias has obviously never played in the Premier League before, it’s clear he’s got decent quality and experience.
