Manchester United are building for the future with more impressive youth additions in the summer transfer window.
United confirmed defender Diego Leon as their second senior summer signing last week, while striker Enzo Kana-Biyik has been unveiled as their third summer signing. The French youngster has joined Lausanne-Sport on loan for the forthcoming season, while Leon will be given time to acclimatise to his new surroundings.
A key reason Ruben Amorim was hired was his commitment to nurturing youth talent, and if he is still in charge in five years, there is a good chance the club's illustrious academy will have played a key role in their success.
With that in mind, here is a look at how United could hypothetically line up in five years, with youth products at the heart of their team.
