Torquay United have signed free-agent midfielder Sonny Blu Lo-Everton.

The 22-year-old, who had spells at Watford and Derby County as a youngster, left Yeovil Town at the end of last season.

The former Wealdstone player helped the Glovers win National League South in 2024 and scored four goals in 29 National League games last season.

He is the latest new midfield recruit after Callum Dolan and Munashe Sundire joined the club this summer.

"It's no secret that I wanted to revamp the midfield from last season," manager Paul Wotton told the club website.

"He's brave and he'll get on the ball and make us tick over. It's another option for us in midfield which we need.

"He's someone that I tried getting on loan a couple of times last season from Yeovil. But for whatever reason, it didn't didn't quite work out. So I'm really pleased to add him on a permanent deal this summer.
