CLEVELAND, Ohio — If LeBron James is actually dissatisfied enough with the Lakers, then Cleveland.com columnist Jimmy Watkins thinks the Cavs should consider a reunion.

The 40-year-old star has been sending cryptic messages to his incumbent team this offseason. Agent Rich Paul released a pointed statement upon James’ decision to opt into his $52.6 million player option for next season. And James wasn’t shy about posting on social media during his visit to Northeast Ohio last week.
Per usual, only The King knows what these subliminal messages mean. But if any of them can be interpreted as Cleveland smoke signals, Watkins says the Cavs should respond.
Enough with this “don’t need LeBron” narrative.
