Even Cristiano Ronaldo rates Haaland highly and believes he could win the Ballon d’Or one day, which speaks volumes of the superstar the latter already is.

Amadou Onana has now paid homage to Haaland by wearing his kit during training ahead of Aston Villa’s pre-season tour of the United States in a video shared by trainer Laurent Bogaerts on his Instagram story.

Onana, who signed for Villa for £50 million (BBC Sport) was wearing the Norwegian’s iconic kit during the treble-winning season where he scored 52 goals in 53 games.

The fact that the Belgian international decided to wear an active Premier League player’s jersey speaks volumes of how much he respects him.
However, Onana will be hoping that his record when playing against Haaland’s Manchester City side improves next season.
