Wolves target destroys Pedro Neto and Ruben Neves across key metric at Club World Cup

Wolves are threatening to use some of their funds from Matheus Cunha to sign Colombian forward Jhon Arias this summer.

After raiding Fluminense for midfield metronome Andre last summer, Wolves are interested in signing Jhon Arias to add another South American talent to their ranks.

Arias has been endorsed by Kaka previously and has recently garnered a lot of attention for his performances at the Club World Cup.

The 27-year-old played an integral part in Fluminense’s run to the semi-finals before being knocked out by Chelsea, with the Colombian notching two goal involvements.

Wolves fans are excited by links to Arias, seeing him as someone who could provide the missing X-Factor in the final third, and they’ll be even more excited by who he’s outperformed in the process.

MORE WOLVES STORIES

Neves and Neto both made themselves heroes at Molineux before exiting the club and Wolves will be hoping that the jewel in Fluminense’s crown can become their latest statement signing.

Encouragingly, Arias has revealed his dream is to play in Europe, and with Pereira wanting to add some magic to his forward line, surely he’s the ideal candidate.

Fosun can erase fan worries by signing Arias

Wolves appear to be accelerating in their mission to land Arias from the Brazilian giants, and although they’re holding firm in their stance that he’s not for sale, they can’t stand in his way of achieving his dream.

Pereira can offer him the ultimate ticket of playing Premier League football, where he can test himself against some of the best players in the world.

With the promise of becoming one of the main men alongside Jorgen Strand Larsen, Fosun have to do everything in their power to capture the South American powerhouse.

Currently, Wolves have only signed Fer Lopez, and there are worries from supporters that another disastrous summer could be in store.

However, by splashing the cash on Arias, the owners will show they mean business and have Pereira’s best interests at heart.
