Williams becomes the latest piece of the Thunder's young core to secure a long-term deal, joining Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (26) and Chet Holmgren (23).
With all three under contract for the foreseeable future, OKC has locked in its Big 3 as they enter their primes—at a combined potential total of $822 million.
Williams averaged 21.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 5.1 assists over 69 games during the 2024–25 regular season, and nearly matched those numbers in the playoffs with 21.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 4.8 assists per game.

He played through a torn ligament in his right wrist during the postseason, helping lead the Thunder to the NBA title, and underwent surgery shortly after. He's expected to be fully recovered for the start of next season.
