Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard is the subject of intense transfer speculation, with Turkish giants Fenerbahce pushing to secure his signature before their pre-season camp in Portugal.

Reports indicate that Fenerbahce, under Jose Mourinho’s management, have tabled a €15 million bid to sign the 30-year-old Belgian, who is in the final year of his Arsenal contract, with an option to extend until 2027.

Arsenal, however, value Trossard at €20 million, and negotiations are ongoing to bridge the gap.

Trossard, who joined Arsenal from Brighton in January 2023, has contributed 28 goals and 23 assists in 124 appearances, proving his value as a versatile forward.

Despite his impact, stalled contract talks and Arsenal’s interest in wingers like Noni Madueke and Eberechi Eze have fueled speculation about his future. The recent arrival of sporting director Andrea Berta and Trossard’s switch to DW Sports Management, an agency with strong Turkish ties, have further opened the door to a potential move.

Fenerbahce are reportedly offering Trossard a lucrative three-year deal worth €5 million per season, appealing to his desire for regular playing time and a strong financial package.

Mourinho sees Trossard as a key replacement for Allan Saint-Maximin, who returned to Al-Ahli, as part of a broader attacking rebuild following Dusan Tadic’s departure.

While some Arsenal fans on X express support for the move, citing Trossard’s dip in form and the need to fund new signings, others value his close control and effectiveness against low-block defenses.

Arsenal’s openness to offers suggests they may cash in to reshape their attack, but no deal is finalized. With interest from Saudi clubs and European sides like Al-Ittihad also lingering, Trossard’s next steps remain uncertain as the transfer window heats up.
