Wolves are seeking to provide some cover and competition for Jorgen Strand Larsen ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Jorge Mendes is facilitating Fabio Silva’s exit from the club, so he more than likely won’t be an option for Vitor Pereira.
And Sasa Kalajdzic could be heading out on loan.
Matheus Cunha has already left the club, and there could also be exits for the likes of Goncalo Guedes and Hwang Hee-chan in this window.
So a new striker would be quite ideal.
And Wolves again have eyes on a player from Brazil to potentially come in and be that striker.

Yuri Alberto has been linked with Wolves on and off for the best part of 18 months now.
Wolves targeted Alberto in the January 2024 transfer window, and by several accounts a move was quite close.
But it was suggested Alberto’s agent demanded more money at the eleventh hour, and a move therefore did not materialise.
Wolves have seemingly kept tabs on Alberto.
And now, CNN Brasil have reported that Wolves remain in the hunt for the player. It has been stated by sporting director Fabinho Soldado that Corinthians intended to keep Alberto, and the speculation after that died down.

But Wolves are linked again – and there is competition for Alberto.
Sporting CP are also in the mix for Alberto.
Of course, Sporting have been in the headlines a lot over the past few weeks because Viktor Gyokeres – once a Wolves target of course – looks like he will leave the club in this window.
Sporting are currently demanding £60 million guaranteed for Gyokeres (via Independent), with Arsenal attempting to land the Sweden international
Alberto would be perfect cover and competition for Jorgen Strand Larsen at Wolves
It would be great to see Alberto seal a move to Wolves, having been linked with a move to Molineux for quite some time now.
The star is potentially a really good fit for English football.
Total Football Analysis said of Alberto in a feature a few years ago: “Yuri is a very active centre-forward, both in and out of possession.
“The 20-year-old has a very unique playing style, heavily reliant on his movement off the ball. He was crucial in helping Internacional’s attack break into the final third.

“His movement was key to disorganise defensive structures and create space for others.
“In addition, he also looked to link up and combine further up the pitch with his back to goal. In the final third, he is very dynamic.
“He is very intelligent with his movement inside the box, often finding open spaces to receive the ball.”
Data showed Alberto had a brilliant 2024, and his fine form has carried on into 2025.
With Wolves needing someone proven and a bit more experienced, Alberto really could be a great signing this summer.
